The Gourd Artists Showcase

Return to the Gourd Reserve here

A virtual museum of Gourd Art from Gourd Artists from around the world. The Gourd Artists Showcase is a location for gourd artists from around the world to showcase their crafts.  It doesn’t matter what medium you use whether it is wood burning, paints & pencils, stains, carvings, or even applying clays and combining pieces of gourds to create something. If you have found a use for your gourds, whether you are the greatest gourd artist in the world, or just a beginner, this is a well trafficked place to display your efforts. Best of all, it is absolutely free!

If you would like to add your work to the Gourd Artists Showcase simply send and email to artists (at) thegourdreserve.com, and in the subject line put the words, “Permission to use these photos in the Gourd Artists Showcase”.

If you have your own website and would like to use this as another link to your website, please give us the name and http: address of your website. We will create a gallery page in your name, with a link to your website, and images of your work.

In the email give us your name, attach the photos to the email, preferably no smaller than 800X600 images in either a gif, or preferably jpg image formats. Gif images are only 256 colors, so the best images for display are a high quality jpg image. Attach up to 10 images per email.

In the future we may be able to make this so you can edit your own page and maintain your own gallery, but for the time being we will take care of the editing and sizing to our needs of your images.  Simply email them to us.

If you are wondering if your art work is, “Good Enough” to be displayed here, let me answer that right here and right now. YES! Your artwork is good enough. Even beginners are welcome here, as artwork is a learning a growing experience.  We have watched many artists start from youthful stick drawings to sophisticated and detailed quality art work, so watching the evolution of artists is also encouraging to others.

In the meantime, look and enjoy the work of other artists. Many artforms are created from the inspiration of others.
